Having a website is not enough!
Before you pay someone to make a bunch of web pages ask them what they'll be doing for you months from now (or even just one month from now). Chances are they'll look at you blankly and shrug! Once you've paid them the hundreds of dollars they typically charge for their so-called service, what do they care what you do with the web pages!
Before you sign up with one of the big website hosting companies remember that all they will give you are tools for you to use to make your own web site. If you're comfortable with doing that, then have fun.

When's the last time you saw a company tell you to go somewhere else for better information? It's not very common; especially when it's on the Internet. We are not the experts. What we ARE; is experienced.
Take a look around our family of web pages ( www.myklin.com ). What is it you see? We have been a "product" based company. Our success has been built on providing physical products to customers around the world. We started by making personalized license plates, custom ceramic tiles, and photographic drink coasters.
A lot of our income still comes from making a physical product that requires raw materials, production facilities, storage, shipping and handling, and sales taxes. Big difference from someone who sits in a cubicle all day (or night) making little dots appear on a computer screen.
We understand the problems of a product based business in ways that most website designers never can. We have a sales tax account (Oklahoma), collect taxes on sales to Oklahoma addresses, AND DON'T HAVE A RETAIL OUTLET. All of our business comes from either the Internet or word-of-mouth from our existing customers.
